    100% its not in the latest rulebook. I thought they covered most things with the second edition. Havent seen a faq since that one was released.

    If that is true, what about the NOs that include land unit? For example the US presence in North Africa?

    I thought this was true as well and so combed through the rulebook and nothing in the rulebook says thats the case, I did a search on forum but didnt see anything but I didnt look super carefully in forum. A bunch of people have been doing it to me so I started doing it since I couldnt find a rule opposing it.

    AAs count as a land unit for NOs that require a land unit. In China however, a Japanese AA gun does not stop guerrilla spawn.

    I haven’t seen someone do that to me in the longest time. I remember people asking about this rule as well, and the ruling was you can’t take control of a territory with a unit that has no combat value.

    if Iraq had gone better I wouldnt have complained but pretty great start for the axis through 3 rounds - certainly no gifts for the allies defensively. I have been trying something new with Z92 stack and UK but not sure I like how it turned out. Didnt want to waste 2 dds blocking but probably end up doing that (or more) anyway.

    Sz92 stack is great. Blocking with DDs probably and keeping Gib probably comes out to the same in the end. Just need to be sure you actually take Gib back.

    In case you didn’t know, you can’t withdraw from a battle if there are only units with no combat value left (for example, AA guns). So for example, if you attack Western Ukraine for 1 round and I chose to leave only the AA gun alive, you’ll be forced to take the territory.

    I don’t like the rule personally, it makes strafing even harder to pull off, but it’s the official rule.

    Got a little excited. 50/50 shot for the russian navy to actually cause some real damage there. better then there normal mode of just hanging out in german waters for a few years before being sunk unceremoniously. meant to take one less inf to WUkr, but oh well. Hopefully they do better on defense than they did on offense.

    Next time I will just sac the dds like everyone else. Feels like way definitely worked out in your favor.
