What do you think of the fact that you first moved France in non-combat, before you changed your mind and did a combat, after you had posted?
You see, normally I am very flexible with edits etc, and I have both granted generous edits and been granted generous edits. This one is was fatal for you. You had already moved your troops to “safety” in Iraq.

But this last one could have been game over for you, and I had positioned myself to move if you forgot syria. That was my “silent plan” and hope that you would forget. But I don’t want to take this victory by doing that, so I have allowed it, but please be careful with such important moves ;)

I was aware of the Syria problem after I saw your Japanese planes in India after your Japanese move. I just forgot about it for a second when doing my French move.
However, I almost immediately remembered it after I that “post turn” button. I thank you for allowing the edit, since it’s not granted by the rules of course and yes, it would have maybe meant game over.
I don’t think it’s that big of a deal, however. I allow my opponents small forgotten fights all the time, as long as nothing else has been done afterwards.
Usually I am extremely flexible, with NCM and with Walk-ins… with combat - not as flexible. But I like to be on the more generous side. It would have been game over, as you would have had to attack, and it would have been a very small percentage battle for you.
Also, I don’t want to win that way - not after such a good game against a worthy opponent. ;)
I have traveled internationally from USA to Europe the last day, so I will post tomorrow.
