  • I at least killed a fighter, which was more than I expected. But yea it was a bit of a downer to go from the high of escaping the fighters to get hit by the aa gun. I bet that’s how the aa gunners got me too! The bomber pilot and copilot were too busy congratulating themselves for losing the fighters and way too relaxed when all of a sudden iron rain erupted all around them. Unfortunately they didn’t have time to pull out of that deadly deluge before they suffered catastrophic damage.

    I knew it was a suicide mission going in, so I didn’t lose something I was expecting to keep.

  • Sorry for the edits. I camethisclose to buying a carrier. And when I went to my noncom I started to make my move like I had gotten a carrier. I couldn’t figure out why it wasn’t letting me move 2 fighters into sz113 so I ‘fixed’ it by throwing the carrier I thought I’d bought in there and I planned to just delete the one I placed. Needless to say, I didn’t have a carrier to place and then delete . . . so I had to adjust my noncom some. Anywho, everything should be good. I’ve double checked to make sure I didn’t add something without deleting it somewhere else. Please triple check in case I missed something.

    And good move with taking NW Persia. I should’ve stuck some of my Japanese in there to make sure you couldn’t pull that stunt.
