  • Please use this map - I hamburgered a pretty important removal of damage, but edited it properly. It was pretty important, and I had planned on it all along (hence Russian air in Volgograd).

    Those 8 UK aircraft will account for 17 German land units, in theory. I don’t know if it’s worth it…

    I assume three fighter scramble, but kamis? If so, on what ships? I assume 3 on cruisers and 3 on destroyers, but didn’t want to assume too much…

  • Ok, it went bad… real bad. You ended with two damaged battleships and seven fighters… a brutal shift.

    I read the opening of our thread, and we agreed to one mulligan each, attacker only. I invoke the mulligan!  :-D

    However, I don’t know the rules - you said it was the same as a n agreement between you and Hank. Let me know how to proceed… I rolled the rest of my battles (failed in Kwangtung, took Gibraltar and Morocco), so I’ll leave my game active on my desktop until you answer. Then, I’ll reroll on this site and edit if needed.

    If it goes terribly for me again, I believe I’ll be conceding this one.

  • I have the saved file, so I’m able to roll it again with the local dicey. I’ll roll it twice and post both - one may be more obvious than the other, in which case I’ll just post it when I’m done as a completed turn for the US.

    First one was an exact duplicate - 2 damaged battleships and 7 japanese fighters remained… wow. Since you get to choose which of the two you want, I’ll be conceding the game anyhow. It was at least a 158 IPC shift… plus everything that the shift will mean as a ripple effect… which was everything. I could have turned all my attention to the Europe board in a last ditch effort to hold Egypt, and might have succeeded. Might. But now, this game is no longer worth my time at a 97.3% chance of a loss.  :-)

    Well played - you earned it - I’ll post it to the site.
