  • It was more so early on against the italian navy that hurt, then the attrition exchanges didn’t help afterwards.  You actually missed 3 out of 4 times in se asia but that’s a bit irrelevant and 25% is not too far off 33%.  4 out of 5 hits in w germany really hurt because these things keep making me change things that end up being more costly.  You can try it again be my guest  :lol: but I still personally think its far from the best option.

    After playing a little of this second edition after a 2+ year layoff, I don’t think I’m taking allies with anything less than 6.  Even that is questionable.  I’m still a bit rusty with this game and the already finished against allweneedislove being my first in over 2 years.  Couple rule stuff messed me up but I think my next games will be very different.

    tripleA made a pretty bad error.  it allowed you to attack with your cruiser in z91 and then move it away from the zone in noncom…  i have never seen that before - i mean, it literally allowed the cruiser to roll in the battle and then move in noncom.

    i guess i will allow it since i don’t see any good reason for you to have left it to fight in the zone.  on the other hand, you moved everything else out of the zone correctly prior to combat so it’s pretty perplexing.


  • Yeah I just wanted to leave the destroyer there to take a seemingly 99% chance of a bomber hit.  Everything else should have moved out.  Personally I don’t like the tripleA units.  A lot of things are very hard to tell apart.  Abattlemap is much better in this regards but I guess the conveniences of tripleA make up for it.

  • Wasn’t really bait since you had the advantage although the loss total was fairly close.  Of course I managed to under hit as normal and you came out +14 ipc over “average.”  You should have taken it with a tank and bomber.  Had I just hit 1 over, you would have just taken it with a tank or not taken it and kept the bomber.

    Wasn’t too bad when compared to the other dicing you’ve thrown this game  :-P

    are you saying the calculator in tripleA is wrong?  because it told me i should take turkey with 4.5 units remaining, meaning you diced me by 0.5 units  :wink:.

    tripleA doesn’t show it clearly so i’m going to assume for now that on your transports in 89, there are three fully loaded transports and 2 transports with 1 british infantry on each.  let me know now if that is not correct.
