    Since I have submarines, I don’t know if you want to save your destroyer.
    Also, if the US carrier is damaged or sunk, the US fighters could potentially fall into the sea if Germany retreats, so I don’t want to assume your OOL.

    US Fighters only have a range of 4 to divide between the US’s own CM/NCM.

    “Air units based on a defending carrier must land on the same carrier if possible after the battle. If that carrier is destroyed or damaged in combat, they must try to land on a different friendly carrier in the same sea zone, move one space to a friendly carrier or territory, or be destroyed.” pg 29

    In this case, there are no other carriers and no adjacent friendly territory.

    So if you use that OOL, Germany can simply retreat after this round and allow the US planes fall into the ocean.

    Arg! … actually, you can’t take the submarine as a casualty since only Germany’s air units rolled hits (both my subs rolled misses) and Germany brought no destroyer which would allow those planes to actually hit the US sub. I only realized this when tripleA wouldn’t let me select your sub.

    I need an OOL that distributes those 4 hits but doesn’t include your submarine as one of them.
