turn complete
13L G40.2 wheatbeer (axis) vs. Jeff28 (allies +10) Part Deux!
-
Okay, I’ll adjust on I11.
I have to say, I’ve never seen so many American submarines. I used to think sub-heavy wasn’t ideal, but you’re starting the change my mind.
-
I’m the one losing here, lol.
-
Probably not because of the subs
-
Wheat:
Here’s my sword.
I’ve decided to surrender. I dread opening the board every time you reply.
Well played!
Thanks for the sportsmanship throughout.
Good game.

-
Thanks, I appreciate that :-)
Are you interested in a tiebreaker match (either shortly or in the future)?
-
Yes, but I’m going to have to up my game.
–Jeff
-
Re-bid?
-
I am also willing to give you 10 again for Allies, if you prefer playing them.
-
I’ll bid 13 for them.
You’re getting too good at axis.
-
I’ll accept 13 … need to think about bid.
I was on the fence, because my Allied play is much weaker, but I’d probably lose if I gave you 14.
-
I’ll take 2 sub SZ98, remaining 1 IPC to UK London bank
-
I think the rule is only one unit per territory/seazone
I could be wrong. I could split the subs to 91 and 98, if you want.
–Jeff
-
I guess I’m wrong, Jen gives an example of a carrier and 2 figs in the league rules.
–Jeff
-
Should we ask to be sure? Or should I think of a different bid?
I was also wondering if bids are allowed in China.

definitely more than one unit can be added to a territory. the only restriction is that units can only be added to territories/sea zones that already have at least one unit in the initial setup.
-
Hey Jeff,
If you prefer to play with the restriction of one unit per territory (regardless of whether or not the league dictates that condition) … then we could rebid with that in mind. I probably would bid higher if I didn’t need to worry about critical territory/SZs being stacked.
-
No no, rules are rules.
I’ll bid 12 for allies.
–Jeff
-
So we’re assuming that the only restrictions are the explicitly mentioned ones in the league thread?
i.e.
1. units can only go where that power already has some
2. reserve is a max of 2 IPCWhich means, China is fair game? If so, can China place a bid of anything other than inf?
-
I guess there wouldn’t be much point to placing anything other than infantry in a Chinese bid anyways :|
If I understand right, I’ll offer you 13 to play as Allies.
-
give me a china tac lol
