i truly have some of the most legendary first round bad luck of anyone i have EVER seen.  i mean truly unbelievably bad rolls, like that one, often with my opponent hitting back above odds.  :-o :-o :-o :-o :-o

if i had been rolling for 9 bombers, i would have gotten only 2 more hits in the entire battle.  freaking amazing.

it’s incredible how often i get huge chunks of my airforce diced in these battles.  i think if i could get battles like this to go roughly to odds, my winning percentage would jump by 20%  :lol:

I was kind of expecting you to save your aircraft for the attack on Germany. Since Germany is still pretty solid, you’ll need everything you can get.

Sinking the Italian fleet didn’t really matter much. It’s not like Japan is going to let your fleet pass through the Indian Ocean unscathed, anyway.

My luck comes and goes. Against you and EB it’s great. Against DizzKneeLand33, not so much.

With Japan, I attacked 1 DD with 1 CV, 2 fig, 1 CA and lost 2 fig.
Next turn I hit Australia with 4 inf, 1 art, 1 arm, 1 CA, 1 BB vs. 3 inf, 1 art and only killed 2 units.
Following turn, he hit Poland against Germany with an inferior UK force intending to strafe it for a follow up attack by the US. He ended up taking it. He hit at 50% with half the force made up of infantry.
I ran 2 bombing raids against Russia and 1 fig attack against Australia AA. Lost a fig and bmb. 3 AA rolls, 2 hits. Salt in the wound was that the one time he missed, my bomber did 1 lousy point of SBR damage.

This game wasnt over when you thought it was but it proabaly is now.  If id used them to attack germany, half would have  een shot down by aa, but attack fleet and its all 5s and 6s -just the way it goes for me  :|

I think so too. You’ll probably crack Germany, but it will take just about everything you’ve got and Japan will be right on your heels with 100+ units.
