    Forgot to switch Mongolia red and give Russia all them fine, strapping, young cannon fodder.  Updated.

    Oh, did we want to go with Tech Tokens?  I think we’ve almost completely beaten Larry into a pulp asking for them, so he’ll either give them to us or figure out where we all live and shoot us to get us to stop asking for them.  :evil:

    I’ll leave it up to you.  Post in the morning so you can get to Italy.  If it’s all the same to you, I generally start doing France either after Australia or before Russia starting on round 2 (when they pretty much have 3 infantry, 1 destroyer and 1 fighter left on the board, give or take.)


  • Why would Mongolia activate, Do I have to attack a USSR territory bordering them first?

    I thought the 3 territories North don’t count.

    “Soviet/Japanese Non Aggression Pact:
    If the Japanese attack any Soviet territory that is adjacent to any Mongolian territory, all Mongolian territories (Olgiy, Dzavhan, Tsagaan-Olom, Central Mongolia, Ulaanbaatar, and Buyant-Uhaa) are placed under the control of the Soviet Union at the end of the Japanese Combat Move phase, in the same manner as though the Soviet Union had moved land units into a friendly neutral territory. These territories have Soviet control markers placed on them, and their standing army units are placed on the board and are controlled by the Soviet Union player from then on. This occurs regardless of the state of relations between the Soviet Union and Japan at the time of the attack, with one exception. If the Soviet Union attacks any Japanese-controlled territory bordering these Mongolian territories while Mongolia is still neutral, Mongolia will remain neutral and not ally itself with the Soviet Union.”

    Yea, that “any territory” thing can hamstring you early.

    At the top of the map are a bunch of charts, updated those and proceeding.

    For the record, technology breakthroughs are on sixes, unless he changed the target number.
