    That changes things A LOT as far as gameplay. I would have made very different Japan decisions, with placements etc.

    What are your odds on Japan? This makes me very frustrated as I was apparently playing a different game with a different goalpost.

    You have 18 PU, so if you bought 6 Infantry with that, my odds are 94%.

    It could have been worse, you know - I could have captured Tokyo one turn earlier (and with even better odds). That gave you some more free units with Japan and I also needed to invest 50 more IPC. Heavy mistake, due to wrong carrier placement.

    I wasn’t even aware of the need to think about Japan. (That’s of course on me for not knowing the rules.)

    But this is only my 2nd BM3 started EVER. Crazy.
