I had a gmail email and it did not work. I created a free proton.me email account and it worked just fine on triplea. Just like flyingbadger stated, gmail and other email accounts do not seem to work at all for triplea. thankyou flying badger and others for helping me get this problem resolved. I am very bad at internet/computer stuff

      Find new rulebook files for

      1941

      1942 Second Edition

      Europe 1940 Second Edition

      Pacific 1940 Second Edition

On the respective game’s page klick on “Instructions” to download the latest rulebook file.
Currently all files are from 2021.

However I have not had time to check whether they inlclude any new wording.
But it is always a good idea to be up to date.

Discuss the specific rulebooks/rules in the respective game category, please.

The developers reverted back to 2.522294, as it turned out that currently 2.6 versions don’t work properly with the so-called “bot-play” in the “Lobby”.

This does not affect play by forum of course.

In case you play lobby/bot you should use 2.5.22294 to do so.

People who prefer to use a current pre-release can download those here:

      Starting with my own answer:

I will “maybe” recommend the online game.

Why maybe? While I don’t care much for example about graphics, sounds and cosmetics or the felt “randomness of dice results” I really do care about rules compliance. As other topics in this forum category indicate the game is somehow leaving the original idea of being as rules compliant as possible.

So in order to recommend the game, to me it needs

either some rework to go back to full rules compliance
or a clear statement, that the online game is not a 1:1 adaption of the OOB/LHTR game but a variant instead - ideally expressed by a dedicated rulebook or at least a fact-sheet that clearly points out all the differences from the boardgame.

To me the online version could be an ideal way to create enthusiasm for the boardgames. But when coming to play the boardgames, online players will need to learn and accept the differences. That is somehow counterproductive, IMHO.

Concerning the tablet version I would definitely buy it. We do not have any serious implementation of an A&A game, however it might be called.

Does the number of dice decrease with each elimination for each batch? For example, the attacking team has 7 dice (3 defensive infantry and 1 offensive armor) to roll and the defending team has 8 dice (1 offensive armor and 2 offensive infantry). The attacker rolls his batch first and hits 1 green and 3 yellow. Thus injuring the tank and eliminating the defending teams infantry. Would the defending team still have 8 dice for his batch? Or would he have 4 dice due to the loss of infantry? Please and thank you!
