It fights as long as the dd is still alive, and take any hits on the dd and submerge the sub.
if the sub hits and a bomber hits then both units sink you realize that?
ie, you can’t take the sub hit to the destroyer and then bomber hits do not hit the destroyer. you are forced to take all the hits you can and since the bomber hit goes to the destroyer the sub hit would go to your sub.
Hmm yeah that makes more sense, glad I confirmed it. Same orders though.
