    I need planes to grab Normandy, Archangel, Smolensk and Eastern Poland. I don´t like dragging out battles so a minimum of 3/4 planes on each. Should leave me with enough to bomb the UK. I was already considering it. Also I want to see how high I can get Italy´s income this game. 80+ is doable I think. But then everything must go the way I want it to.

    I didn’t mean to be rude to either you or to SouL.  The fact is you are both very good players, better than me.  I think you have him in a tight spot with Africa all wrapped up and a lot of bombers threatening London or his fleet, so I do think you can beat him this time.  In the game I played against SouL I also managed to get him into a bad spot despite very good play on his part, but I lost anyway.  Its never over til its over.  Anyway, I apologize to both of you if I was a jerk.  Carry on.

    Ah I doubt he sees it that way and it is never over till it is over. He just had a flawless round with the US, which is troublesome.

  • Decided not to bomb the uk this turn. The potential loss of a bomber wasn’t worth the effort. I am gladd I didn’t lose the complete 5 ipcs to convoy.

    Which blunders are you referring to?

    There’s no way I should have let that Italian fleet live. A better move for me in rd 1 would have probably been to sink that which was in 97 and sacrifice my med fleet. Then bring the BB/CA around from the English Channel to sz 92 and just go “devil may care” with all my boats trying to control the med. IC Egy turn 1, then onward from there. The situation became untenable after round 2 when I was indecisive with the fleet again. I wanted earlier (and more) pressure on Normandy/Bordeaux.
