  • I did that to someone who placed 4 or 5 transports worth of guys there in preparation of a take of India. Needless to say I built a dd there and that bought me enough time to build enough defenses to hold India.  :-D

    No, I clearly need some dice luck and it might as well be now.

    I remember some issues with sub combat a few versions back, what are you concerned about in AAA?


  • It rolled my subs and if I continue it’ll roll your subs first even though we both have destroyers present. It should just roll them with the rest of our stuff and not first.

    It rolled my subs and if I continue it’ll roll your subs first even though we both have destroyers present. It should just roll them with the rest of our stuff and not first.

    The game engine knows if you have DDs there though, and lets the casualties shoot back.

    The reason it separates them is for casualty restrictions, and there it makes a mistake because it forces you to pick your casualties without finishing the full round of shooting.


  • But the defensive subs would have rolled prior to you seeing the rest of my attacker rolls. Had you gotten really lucky, that knowledge could impact your casualty choices. And you had 7 subs to get lucky with.


  • It probably wouldn’t have impacted the outcome of the battle and I’m not saying I don’t trust you. It’s just that the rules exist for a purpose and we should make exceptions to triplea when it gets them wrong.
