I thought it would favor me if you decided to take it.  I’m not in a position in this game where I can afford to turn down a battle where the average result favors me that much.

I dunno if I would have taken that risk in your shoes but I’m not saying it was a bad move.  I don’t believe you needed to take the risk, but I see the reasoning that your stuff was trapped so why not go for the 12%.

Yeah I messed up. Should have gotten a bomber or two, make the odds better.

I could have stayed there, roll that defense.

Yeah I did not plan the last turn well or this finland move very well. I am glad it worked out. It was kind of a last minute thing where I looked at it and thought… hugh… that would be fun. Then I did it, because it looked fun.

At first earlier in the day, I did my russia turn on my laptop while on campus… but it wouldn’t let me roll dice or anything because of a firewall issue or whatever… anyway I was going to just do ukraine as an attack.

So I went home and I looked at it and I was like… hugh, 12% is not too bad. Say I cut him down to 4 air units, usa comes in then UK goes… then shazam… I am good to go as far as dropping men on europe.

It still sucks not having air units for Russia. My income is not too bad.

I lose uk air last if you do decide to hit yunnan up. max defense ool, which country loses what is irrelevant just take the defaults.

sry about not posting yet.  In a league game, some of us pbem players will take a day or 2 off after a bad dicing so we don’t make a rash or emotional decision in the wake of the dicing.  League games between experts or tournament/league champ games tend to go at a slower pace.

Normally I can win as Axis without taking significant risks and without having to think to much.  But you bring an excellent Allied game and you are getting good dice so the Axis decisions are much more complicated.  And this upcoming turn is pretty important.  I’m still mulling it over.

I did make some hasty moves on the last Russian turn. Tried to make this a quick game, but I guess it did not matter.

I do not normally. I tried to rush this game so it would end. Since it has not ended because of a hiatus… I want an edit… I wanted the game to end at a 70%~ chance for Germany to win against Russia. I wanted to have a quick game, win or lose, but the hiatus kept the game from concluding.

So I may as well play for a long game rather than forcing him to attack.
