    Another 1% battle.

    Because of the unlikely Italian failure in Tambov, now I can’t get the German NO for Stalingrad for and I can’t safely advance the main German army to Tambov (needed to threaten mobile units returning to Moscow from the Caucasus).

    I don’t know what to tell you. That the dice aren’t going to fail catastrophically? We both know that’s a lie. The only consolation is that they are going to fail your opponents as much as they fail you. You simply can’t count on the dice. I’ve lost games that I was winning easily because of the dice. And the opposite is true, as well. There have been times where I wished that an upcoming battle was Low Luck because I knew I could handle a relatively average result, even in a loss, as opposed to risking the agony of watching the dice pummel me. This game is far from over and, by all accounts, I feel like you’re still winning despite your recent bad luck.

    That is really lousy dice.

    I had a battle like Rostov in the tourney, 7 Italian units whiffed in round 1 and a single French infantry killed 2 of them.

    Drives me crazy!  But I think I’m stuck with pure luck dice because forum players seem to hate the idea of playing low luck.
