  • Ah, I see I got hustled near India.

    Used the game history option (pretty cool)

    My mistake was not taking out the cruiser with a DD and planes.  Let the DD survive and block.  This stops the take over of Burma.  I also should have maxed out on Yunnan with Chinese to cover for Burma and Shan State.  Should have moved infantry to Shan State to cost you more to take it or even fail.  Chinese could clean up the rest.

    The combination of these moves would have been enough to stop your planes from potentially hitting India in round 3, which they are poised to do now.  Could have taken Sumatra instead and saved $4 and land the ANZAC plane there instead and over to India.

    At that point, there is no sack of Inidia J3 and the odds to take Inida J4 are more even.  So if my calculations are correct, with proper play, then India can’t fall earlier than J4.

    Ok let’s play on another round or 2, but I’m afraid I might have to can this one soon.  If that happens, we can play a tie-breaker.  That one fast win for me and maybe one fast win for you.

  • I agree with you. The crucial move is to attack and block in sz37. That allows you to stack Burma making sure you can retake Shan State.

    I really like the history option. Generally I look at the turns that way instead of reading the turn summary. While I have to see the undo moves I like the visual representation. Another advantage is that is satisfies the paranoid part of my brain…  :|


  • Doh! I managed to hit done on the non-combat moves after the only battle. 2 bmb vs cc, trn. Lost one bomber. Instead of editing my non-combat moves I’ll reload the turn and edit the battle…
