    I have weathered a lot of bad luck lately (in almost every game I am playing) but that was probably a death blow.

    No problem at all…I have looked at both Italian fleets and the UK will have a hard time sinking either one. Which will leave open a triple amphibious assault on Gibralter, Algeria, and the UK. If they are successful, the Axis will have the 15 VCs required for victory and the Americans have no troops close enough to liberate any of them.

    You may start the bidding if you like. We can even start the next game if you wish to continue this one.

    Nope…did not even realize this. I knew they could not move into a hostile sea zone and load, but I did not think it applied to when they were already there. Seems bogus to me, but the rulebook states cannot load in a hostile SZ…but hey, I got all the patience in the world…only a matter of time.
