Yes, if I were to keep my sub and you lose your destroyer, your air will be completely unable to save the transports.

Well now. You might want to reconsider your OOL by defensive ability.
If you lose the cruiser, the transports will be sunk and I will still have the sub.
If you lose a fighter, then it’s sub on cruiser for all the marbles, and you will only have one fighter remaining. I know you said go by defensive dice, but I don’t know if you considered this scenario. Just want to give you the chance to choose your options again - it’s your right… But man, if it was me I’d want to pick casualties round by round… To each his own

yeah i better save the ca and lose a ft. that should leave me with a ft and a ca vs a sub and a ft. you get first strike and can only hit the ca…bit of a gamble.

Ooops, that was a long ago game, must have had my sort by date feild inverted. This board looks much worse. All great defensive dice resulted in this IIRC. Italy is far to strong. Right! back up to speed.
