@Stucifer Oh, I just read just Kazakh message, thank you for the edit, although it was my mistake :) On a different note: If I remember correctly, you also used to play a game with a friend in which you strengthened China by making their troops Soviet (or something similar). As you know, I am also a fan of alternative setups and I always wanted to make the 1941 scenario so that a “Japan first” is actually possible (I know, quite ambitious). I think you also mentioned that giving India an IC only works partially because it is often quickly captured by Japan.
I therefore tried a different approach that gave India an IC AND relocated UK’s Transports. I also used China’s 1942 setup with a relocated Fighter (although, this could be optional). I played a few games both as Allied and Axis against the Computer and I found it pretty balanced. The UK can spend IPCs against Japan but at the expense of helping Russia. If you don’t mind and have the time, I really appreciate the feedback of a seasoned player. :)

@cloud7707 Yes, I do! I made a lot of changes to the game however so it’s basically an all-new version. It’s an alternate-history setup where the PRC is formed much earlier. As a result the USSR and China develop much closer ties and the USSR goes to war with Japan when it attacks China. Although in this case the Mongolians would certainly have been absorbed/aligned with either entity, I kept the territory neutral for gameplay reasons as it touches 9 territories!
Also I split the UK into UK & ANZAC similar to Global 40, but with ANZAC controlling all the Eastern territories including India. Lots of unit changes and revised National Objectives.

Relocating China’s fighter is big. One of the advantages of the 1942 setup is the turn order allows the USSR to help the Chinese, they can potentially liberate territory to allow China to spawn an extra infantry than they would normally get. Only getting an Infantry for every 2 territories controlled at the start of China’s turn makes it so Japan can usually control China rather quickly in the standard rules.

i dig so many changes in your map, like Urals worth 2 IPC, India being worth way more, China being worth less in terms of IPC value, the additional ICs… so much cool stuff there! But one question: Why is turkey Soviet-controlled?
I think I was trying to put all the important neutral countries into play. Lenin sent quite a bit of materiel to Turkey in the 1920s as the Atatürk government was fighting for independence from the British occupation and the remnants of Ottoman rule. This scenario envisions a close relationship continuing and Turkey falling into the Soviet sphere of influence, and Germany deciding to invade Turkey as part of the invasion of the USSR.
Similarly a much-quicker end to the Spanish Civil War lead to Spain being more amenable to allying themselves with Germany, formally joining the war shortly before France falls in exchange for Gibraltar and other promised concessions.
Eventually I wanted to add Airbases for scrambling fighters to defend fleet units. Would remove their +1 movement bonus: with a smaller map than those games, the +1 movement is quite unnecessary! Also planned on setting up rules for the straits of Denmark/Gibraltar/Bosporus. However only Gibraltar and NW Europe would be required to control those straits, similar to Global. I never got around to coding these in the game files but we did enjoy playing with them at the table.
