Presidential Election (as a current event- watch the tone or it's gone)

  • So will McCain return the favor and take Lieberman as his VP?

  • @Cmdr:

Honestly, McCain is obviously not conservative enough to lead the Republicans, if he had been conservative enough to lead them, then the Democrats would never have dreamed of offering him the Veep position.  It doesn’t take a genius to know that if your guy buys the farm then the VP moves up, so why would you even RISK having a real conservative as VP if you are standing for big government and socialism, ere I am sorry, I mean liberalism.

If that’s the way you feel about it, then you have noone to blame but your own party for voting him as the Republican nominee. You scream bloody murder about McCain, yet according to the primary results the Reps want him as their front runner. Done deal. So quit crying about it. Your party has spoken.

It also shows that your neo-con-nazi beliefs are highly unpopular. You can’t even get past the primaries!

  • @Cmdr:

socialism, ere I am sorry, I mean liberalism.

:-D Right-wing party lost last March, 9th elections in Spain for saying things like that. Funny.

Well. I guess that makes me a fool, because I remember when McCain was asked about the offer in an interview at the like and he laughed and said something like “That’s not something I would be interested in.”

And let me say  that I am aparently a fool for saying that if Obama offerd me the change to be his VP I would NOT consider it.

Thank you Dezrt. That is precisely the answer I am looking for. The whole thing was blown up to a ridiculous proportion over something as little as a job offer from one American to another. And what did he say? “No.” End of story. But is it the end of story for other people? “NOOOOO!” They want to drag it out like a conspiracy.  :|

Thanks for the name calling.  Just proves I am correct because your entire argument has devolved into silly name calling.

The funny thing is, Nazis were SOCIALISTS and Democrats are SOCIALISTS.  Hmm…something to ponder

Secondly, you will note that I provided links to the exit polls showing that DEMOCRATS and independents voted for McCain.  Republicans did NOT VOTE FOR MCCAIN in large numbers.

The funny thing about that is, now the crying masses of the Democrats are complaining that we are returning the favor and voting for someone they don’t want.

Name calling seems to be the only thing you are good for.

Ever hear the term “Closed Primary?” It means Voters may vote in a party’s primary ONLY if they are registered members of that party. Hence: http://news.aol.com/elections/primary/main/republicans

Like I said Jen… quit being so butt hurt that your own party betrayed you.

Ever hear of registering for a party so you can vote?

Awe….Democrats don’t like it when Republicans play their tactics against them do they.  :-(

Tell ya what, shed a tear for me while you are at it.  You just don’t like that we are beating you at your own game!  You want to disenfranchise millions of voters???  Common, really?  Wow.  How, ere, patriotic of you!

Again with the conspiracies, Jen. I am sure millions of Democrats switched over as register Republicans just to vote for McCain in the primaries.

And now you are saying that Republicans are playing liberal tactics? lol… Daaamn girl, now why would they do something a liberal would do… isn’t that socialistic? Geez, Jen… you talk so much about standing firm on your methods and values and now you just stated on how you will adopt the values of others just to make a point. How, ere, patriotic of you!

Beating me at what, btw? I don’t see anybody arguing my point except you. Furthermore, I don’t see anyone backing you up. Your a street corner screamer… you know, one of them folks who babbles on and is never heard. And that is not a name-call… it’s an accurate comparison.

Not a conspiracy theory.  Go back to about the teens or twenties for page numbers in this thread.  I have all the exit polls to prove my statement.  60% of McCain’s votes came from people who considered themselves Democrats or Independents.  Another 20% from those who consider themselves Liberals.

That’s 80% of his votes from Democrats, Independents or Liberals.

Why in the world do you think there’s a Republican push to nominate Hillary?  We’re just paying the Democrats and Liberals back for McCain!

That, and McCain’s promised to run no ads against Obama what-so-ever, so the only way we can get the truth about him is if Hillary’s campaign gives us the information.
