I’d say Japan suffers a misery too. Certainly, the dice kept her alive, so the questions is whether this just extended her misery or whether she can somehold hold.

Japan should be glad with its position given everything I’m throwing at it. :-D

Without the crazy dice, Japan would be kicked out of the continent with India making 25 IPCs, China making 20 IPCs and US laying out a serious claim to Korea. Japan is definitely pressured but it’s much stronger than what the median outcome would look like. As I said last turn, there should be 10-15 extra British Pacific units on the map, and this turn Japan even managed to take a plane off the map. This isn’t counting the impact of these lost UK units units on what’s left of Japan on land…

Japan has the most momentum variability in the game if you can overwhelm it’s not an issue.

Despite Egypt, Moscow and India not being taken yet, I think you’ve got the upper hand to be honest. That shows how hard it is to win with Allies at OOB. You have to pull miracles to keep going on rounds 6-10.

Goodness, just started looking at this. The Soviets seem to be in real trouble. The number of German mobile and air units on the board is stupendous.
