Hadnât planned to take Belgium, just 1 round to kill most units and then retreat to Champ. But thatâs okay. UK could have landed ten troops, built 3 more and 3 trenches. So at least now I get another factory and prevent UK from building on the continent. France can move most units into Champ, including 11 HG. So G canât counterattack. Got rid of Rus threat in Norway. G is 0-18 tech dice. Really hinders me. Aus has barrage and gas, which will give it great advantage.
@barnee Thanks. Turns out one team player was using an ancient version of Triplea engine. Weâll just have to manually adjust for the few land battles that use gas. Most players will build DDâs making first strike less relevant.

Anyone know how many of the various online variant games like 1914, Napoleon, 270 BC, etc. are being played or have been played lately? Enjoying 1914 now.
