Sir, I’d like to request a late edit, it is even a US edit. However I believe it is safe to assume that the 2 British battles can’t have influenced them and I believe it does not significantly influence Italy’s in turn in case you already plan it.

In fact, I’m gonna concede the game at this point. Wow. I was sure I was doing alright for quite a while, but things just slipped through my fingers! The strength of Italy just isn’t enough to make up for my weaknesses literally everywhere else.

Wow, I have to say this is one of my “greatest” victories so far because the game was certainly in the hands of the Axis and I simply tried to continue to hope for a mistake or a miracle or so.
In fact the decisive game changer was that you did not take Scotland back which allowed me to set up the attack on London.
However, in case you would have realized the bombers and would have put max defense on London (3 fighters buy London, 1 fig + 2 Bombers to London + 3 Italian figs to London) the battle would have been exactly 50%. I would have gone for it and most likely conceded if I would have lost.
In the current position you could have hoped for miracles by e.g. taking the 21% on India next turn however even in case Japan wins with 1 arty and few air remaining it would most likely not have been enough.
Germany and Italy together had significantly strength and income, but you suffered the problem that 53 + 45 G+I is way way worse than 83+15 for example.
Are you interested in a rematch with same sides? I would even be willing to play the same “game” again with the same German opener and the same UK1 instead of not leaving you a G2 attack on London :-)
