@alexgreat:
I love this, and immediately went to giochistarter to buy a capitano edition, a 6th player and additional die. After registering, the site never accepted my username and password (when creating an account, they dont label anything “username”, just “nickname” or “name”). I changed my password, went ok, I tried to log in again, again not accepted and now blocked for 24h.
And of course you cant send them a request or inquiry when not logged in.-…wtf
Needless to say I am rather…shall we say amazed?
And in general, I hate all those registering things, why can I not go to a place, leave a shipping adress and pay immediately. And all this only so I can be sent 20 info emails per week.
Sorry for your problem.
Remember that on giochistarter.it you can choose to pay with 8 Paypal installments (no interests)!
Why don’t go on kickstarter? https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/166119889/medioevo-universalis?ref=nav_search -

that’s alot of stuff!!

Is there any chance of a follow up to this game set in the ancient period?
I’ve been trying to goad Larry Harris into publishing a new Conquest of the Empire but he’d been working on a secret project set in the “gunpowder” era.
-
You should ask Harry Larris if he could work on that game ASAP.
-
Gun powder could be anything from Conquistadores to Civil War, but he’s not telling.
-
how much I wish to have a great historic game in the ancient area. Not that there are not great games already, bit not everyone is prepared to play Imperium Romanum II :)
-
That’s why I think a new version of Conquest could be great. Still a light dudes on a map game, but with just a few additions a game with real historical theme and depth.
Larry was definitely toying with this a couple of yers ago, but it got sidetracked by the new secret project. -
oh dear……totally contradictory to what I stated before, Conquest is catching dust unopened in a cupboard for 15 years or so. Think I bought it at the Spielemesse in Essen, once. Didnt even know Larry is behind it.
This unacceptable state changes today :)
-
If it’s the Eagle Games version you have then Larry is behind the “Classic” version, not the “Euro” game version included in the box.

there are two rulebooks, right!
