  • shit, sorry, spammed the “done” button too many times and moved to russia…anyway, I’m going to cash in my favor from earlier…I used my german planes and counted one hundred times where they would have to land and could never get them to iraq…turns out they could land there…so I never would’ve vacated iraq with the italians like I did to move to syria, so I edited all but one italian man back in…hope that’s okay with you and now we’ll call it even

  • Well, I just got terribly diced, and you’re right in this game.

    The odds were I won in Volgograd with two artillery and my aircraft left… and you killed everything and still have ten mech. Devastating for me.

    I would do it over if I had the chance, every time. Most of the time, it would pay off for me. Really sucks to play so well for so long and have the dice betray deep in the game. This isn’t Risk.

    I’ll get over it.

  • yeah that is rough…I’ve gotten dice-f’d in some of my other games going right now and it sucks to make the right moves and the dice just brutally destroy you…this one might still have a ways to go

    SZ19 is SZ next to IC in Kiangsu:

    Japanese defend with 11 Inf/Art/Mech/Arm
    US attacks with 6 Inf/4 Art/6 Ftr/5 Tac

    No bombardments (brought 5 Transports/7 Destroyers into SZ 19)

    In Iraq:

    Italy defends with 7 Inf/Mech
    Germany defends with 7 Bombers
    US attacks with 8 Bombers
    I have strong 11 unit follow up with UK (3 Inf/2 Art/4 Mech/2 Ftr)

    OOL very important - you lose bombers first, you’ll have better subsequent defense… you lose ground first, bombers easier to mop up.

    After Volgograd, I have to be careful thinking I’ll mop up anything :)


  • let’s do this, use one kami token per destroyer (obviously only up to the 6 tokens)…and then in Iraq, lose the bombers first, they’re going to die either way so might as well try to dent your US attacking power with max defense…RIP German air force
