We can stop it right here. As expected, the foothold you managed to get in Normandy was disastrous for Germany. Especially when Russia wasn’t under great pressure at that point.
Well played! -
Thank you  I feel I have to attack now as Japan is getting really big and could start to pressure Russia’s captial soon. It is hard to say what could happen if Germany lasts for a couple more turns.
BTW congratulations to your 1st round victory on tournament! :-D
-
Yes, but I needed to keep the allies off the shores of Normandy to give Japan more time to exert that pressure. Turned out it was a good gamble by you with that early normandy landing!
Thank you :) I wasn’t really ready to play the allies, but it turned out alright in the end!
-
Seems like we gained experience throughout the plays :-D I remembered it’s tough to defeat your Axis when using Allies in 1E!
World is small - Your next opponent turns out living in the same city as I do! I would love to invite him out for a face to face game some time :-D.
And let me know whenever you like a rematch :-D :-D
-
Hehe, yeah that was the good old days. You have improved your game a lot since. Was a long time ago I beat you now!
Is that right. Which city do you live in? You should, even though a real game can easily take up to 10 hours - it’s a bit hard to squeeze in unless you have vacation or something.
Sure - I will see how much time this tournament will take. Will let you know!
-
I live in Shanghai right now - I was watching the tournament and notice he commented he’s living in China so I was curious to check…Was pretty happy as it’s hard to find AA folks in the same place these days.
He seems like a tough opponent! Good luck and have the dices with you :-D!
