Can we change title to semifinal or should we make a new separate post for our game with correct game-title?

Going to attack Berlin with the UK. You can scramble the tac against 1 fighter and 1 empty AC. Since the odds are terribly against you I assume you do not want to scramble, but save the tac for later. As before we can redo the naval battle if I was wrong.

Well, let me know if you want to redo the naval battles. I dont think your Italian tac would have changed anything though.

Well, I am not sure what happened in the Pacific when your navy went down. Was a very decisive battle.
Berlin was almost 100 % guaranteed. Had you taken Denmark I would not have been able to take Berlin though.
-
Yeah Ur Kopenhagen guys finished me :D
i played a very poor Japan from the start
and then rushed into that battle and that was a mistake .
in the end i had some chances to kill Russia but it was too late for Berlin
-
i hope it was a fun game for u
-
I was certain you were going to win before you attacked with the Japanese navy. Also, during the last couple of rounds I felt you had invested plenty in your front against Russia to at least keep the red army in Moscow. Maybe some German airplanes would have kept the Allies out of Europe a bit longer. I dont know.
I think you played better than me for a long time. The Copenhagen guys were badass, but at the end it was a close race.
I will gladly play against you again some day. Just let me know.
-
thanks man U play pretty well so its a challenge for me.
for the time being i have too many games so i ll contact u when i have some more space ok?
feel free to make some more comments about the game and my play including mistakes…cheers
-
Well, as I said you played very well and for a long time probably better than me. Not sure I am the one to give you advice, but I can try.
The game changer for me was the loss of your Japanese navy. It made possible for the US to invest everything in Europe and impossible for Japan to take the Money Isles back. Anzac would probably have been able to keep Japan at bay for the rest of the game.
You made it really hard for Russia so not much to say about that. Once Russia had turtled down in Moscow unable to attack your German/Italian stack I think you could have invested in more German planes forcing the US and UK to protect the TTs more. Thats why I enjoy building bombers. Even though they are expensive they give you so many attacking options. From Rome your bombers are able to attack in the Med, the Atlantic, the Middleeast and in Russia. You just have to use them wisely.
Your Italian play was really hard for me to counter. You were able to hold on to the Middleeast for the whole game. Maybe as the game got closer to the end you should have played more defensively and just spammed Italian units to defend Europe. That would have made it possible for Germany to invest a lot more in Russia.
-
My Japan play was my weakest point I agree.
But i was surprised too see how U were able to mega stack Russia :-o

Yeah me too
I think I managed to delay you for a few turns. Probably because you didnt invest enough in ground units the first couple of rounds.
