    So in the original set of dice rolls I essentially won the battle (ie reduced Egypt to a point where Japan can take and hold it, thereby winning the game because you have no way to liberate a VC this round, all according to plan).  In the reroll I got diced. Probably the most correct thing for you to do would be to simply swap out 1 or 2 of the 5 fighters I left you with in the original set of dice rolls for AA guns, or you can just stick with the 5 fighters; that’s up to you.  Even that is to your advantage because if the AA were not taken as casualties in the first round you would have had 1 or 2 fewer defenders rolling dice in rounds 2 and 3.  So that’s my penalty for being impatient and wanting to get the game over with instead of waiting for OOL on a plan with very high likelihood of success regardless of your OOL.  Nevertheless you can swap them if you want to.  The first set of dice rolled is normally what is used, but I rerolled it anyway because you suggested a reroll.


  • It’s unfortunate that the battle went worse for you, but I specifically asked to give my ool and you jumped the gun, I always try to play as close to a table game as I can and especially in a big battle you never know what someone might take as casualties also whenever there is a mix up in a live game the battle is always rerolled. You say you got diced but the odds are that I would have 11-12 units left so your still above avererage and may still take it with Japan and then it’s a non issue. Hopefully this causes no ill-will between us as I think your a great player and have thus far had a great experience playing with you.
