The bright side is that we’re both making small mistakes at an equally fast pace. I just built a German destroyer in our other game with nowhere to place it… basically throwing away money.

wasnt the stupidity of leaving the dest 2 trans for the french ftr, it was the 87% chance to take the ukraine and have a bomber left over and a 50% chance to have the ftr left as well to defend turkey. That wasn’t stupidity but compiled with it i almost want to quit this game.

Is a 1/3 loss reroll for a whole turn or one battle?
We never really specified. Our goal is to figure out the best way to have good, competitive games, which should = fun. So I’m open to whatever makes sense to that end, and as long as we make sure it applies to both of us, all is good. So if a whole turn needs to be done again, so be it.
I brought an inf and art to java but forgot to unload them to attack plus some extreme bad luck in one battle and bad luck in a couple others. (surprise. how many games have I played and had only bad luck with Japan early…)

In Shensi; I should have won with 1strat, 2tact, 2ftr, 1arm, 1art left. I had just 1strat and 2tacts left. With all the other extra losses that round it looked even worse.
I want you to make the call since I’m the beggar here. If you say our rule is to reroll the whole round, I will take the 1/3 loss and also ask that you let me land those units that were supposed to in java.
If you think just that battle is more in line than I will need to think long and hard about it, because my bad luck and stupidity has already cost me a lot in this game and it probably isn’t worth the extra 1/3 loss…
I’ve got no problem making the call on this - go for it! The battles were egregious - esp Shensi. I brought in the Russians to inflict casualties, yes, but that was absurd. Units can land in Java - you know I’d never hold you for ransom on something like that.

Proposal for new rod/steven save a game that gets skewed by extreme bad luck.
A: We are now keeping track of online wins and losses and we are both very competitive.
B: We are honest and want a good game that is not skewed overly much by extreme luck.
C: If we both agree a dice battle is agregious/game changing we can try this method.
1. We both agree it is reroll eligible (see B)
2. The person wanting the reroll takes 1/3 game loss on our record.
3. The battle is rerolled twice and the opponent chooses which one is played moving forward.
3(Alternative). The battle is rerolled 3 times and the median avg battle is used.
We agreed to 3alt.
