I can see how that one unit would make a huge difference. I have a really hard time with the concept of bids in this version… the game has been playtested to death. But if it comes my way at some point, at least I know what a reasonable amount is - thanks -

I apologize for not putting up much of a fight in this game. I never use tech (I just used it for the first time in like 12 years, smashing success), but I’m of the opinion that if my opponent wants to chase good money after bad, I’m happy to let him :) I think most people think that it’s not worth it, which make it worth it if the other guy is the only one spending on it! If anything, I kinda think that any “improvements” don’t take effect until the beginning of the next turn (it’s silly to have 4 bombers on the board the all of a sudden are poof Heavy Bombers wheeee) and take the “gotcha” factor out - not that tech needs to be nerfed any further…
