I prefer it that way. Why would you want to have to nominate your purchase before you have worked out your attacks. I positively hate it actually. You have to work out your attacks twice.
It can’t be changed after the start. It is in the Map.
I’m confused, do you roll and then buy? because that completely goes against the rules of the game…if an attack goes badly you can choose to purchase to make up for it instead of having to buy ahead…
or do you make combat moves, then purchase, then roll? if the latter is the case, that’s fine
looking at the game logs, I think it’s the latter, which is good by me…time to find out in my British moves

You can reapply this edit if you want (and roll the combat) but I would presume you’d rather just accept the move I posted.
I actually left some units out of the calculator again.
