  • I think you have a bit too many forces in z54 around QLD, because:
    1. You started the turn with 3 AC (unless I am missing one) and now you have 4 – 1 in z41, 2 undamaged in z54 and 1 damaged in zone 54
    2. You brought in too many aircraft into the z54 and QLD battles. Because only 2 AC could reach z54, only 4 aircraft in total could be brought into these two battles.

    Since you already rolled these, the z54 battle did not need such overwhelming odds so two of the aircraft could actually move somewhere else instead of z54; ie islands, onto the mainland or back onto the AC in z41.

    Since it looks like you miscounted and went through all the trouble of setting up pickets to protect your fleet I won’t attack it with just the USA and ANZ aircraft, which have a good chance of mutual destruction – not good for the Japanese fleet or pacific control. This will let you withdraw the fleet next turn, if you choose to.

    Hope this is acceptable…

  • you are right on the bb instead of the AC in z54 – the damage markers look very similar.

    Technically, you had too many aircraft in z54 – you brought 4 into z54 battle and 2 into QLD battle. Since the extra 2 aircraft in z54 did not matter and you could bring them in on a NCM anyways, I’ll just assume the placement is OK as is.
