So the axis almost pulled it off. Lost Verviers last turn. Allies just stayed in the other 2 stacks. Could roll them out to see if they get control for the heck of it.

I don’t have the board for A&A D-Day in front of me but, I know it has roads to all the cities for aesthetic value. Maybe we could use some of the rules of supply and also the use of roads from Battle of the Bulge with D-Day as well? Any ideas?
I thought of that but most all the territories have roads connecting each so it defeats the purpose.
The supplies, trucks and frontlines match perfect to D-day.
I wouldn’t change the winning mechanic of D-Day, just the supply and Combat system… Trucks could move as fast as tanks, supplies activates one territory, etc.

You would have to land supplies at the beaches and move them to the front line units. Units would have to be able to move out of zones with other units. The whole “locked in combat” aspect of D-Day is not in keeping with most of the mechanics of BOTB.
