Ik had het mij niet eerder gerealiseerd, omdat de save file te groot is geworden, maar als jij op de manier zoals nu Denemarken aanvalt, dan wil ik scramblen en ik zal uitleggen waarom. Bij een aanval vallen alleen de eenheden aan van het betreffende land. Dus in dit geval drie transports. Ik heb het even gechecked (vandaar ook de dice rolls van de amerikanen en de engelsen in je folder). Feit is echter wel dat ik dus had willen scramblen. 3 fighters tegen 3 transports is lachen :D. Misschien dat er een alternatieve oplossing mogelijk is, maar dan moet je daar dan mee komen. Ik gok dat je hier niet van op de hoogte was en ik ben dus (bijna) overal tot toe bereid, maar dan wel in overleg. Er zijn natuurlijk altijd uitzonderingen… maar dat is logisch.

Ja dat is lastig, ik probeer door te spelen en te voorkomen dat er al te veel tussenstappen in komen door scrambles die volgens mij zinloos zijn (zoals 3 fighters tegen een heel vloot Amerikanen). En ik dacht dat bij zo’n aanval alle units aanvallen, niet alleen van 1 land, anders had ik natuurlijk nooit met die Britse transports zonder begleiding in Denemarken aangevallen.
Ik zie in de regels (Europe, pag 18) alleen: If sea combat occurs, all attacking and defending sea units present must participate in the battle.
Maar er staat nergens wat de attacking units precies zijn.
En enige tijd later vind ik het toch (pag 19): If you are attacking in a sea zone that already contained friendly units, your ally’s units are not placed along the battle strip, but remain out of play for this turn.Er landt overigens maar 1 transport in Denemarken, dus mag je dan 3 transports aanvallen, of maar 1? Want die andere 2 transporteren niks naar Denemarken (en er zijn er ook die ‘niks doen’ en wachten tot de Non-combat move). Zoals ik het lees zijn dat geen attacking units, alleen de ene transport die iets naar Denemarken brengt.
Nog een vraag: als ik dan Britse vliegtuigen in de sea zone plaats, zijn dat dan attacking units die tegen jou fighters kunnen vechten als ze scramblen?Twee opties:
- ik verlies van een ronde geleden dat ik dat deed 1 transport, 2 infantry en 2 IPC (bouw 1 infantry minder) (want je scramblet), deze ronde besluit ik Denemarken niet aan te vallen, dat edit ik in de gamefile.
- ik val Denemarken in beide ronden niet aan en doe iets anders met die 4 infantry en krijg 4 IPC minder

Nee. Ronde geleden maakt niet uit. Is te laat om daar iets aan te veranderen en is te veel tijd over heen gegaan. We moeten dat dus vergeten. Deze ronde is niet te lang geleden en daar moeten wij wel iets aan doen. We hoeven er niets aan te doen als ik niet zou scramblen, maar het voordeel is te groot voor mij.
Vliegtuigen tellen mee als aanvallende units, maar die van jou zijn in andere battles betrokken. Overigens tellen alle units van een land mee als aanvallende units (ook al doen ze niets). Het gaat om aanwezigheid. Daarom zie je ook sommige spelers gedurende de combat movement phase troepen wegtrekken uit een contested warzone.
Ik stel het volgende voor. Ik betwijfel dat je de hele uk turn anders kon doen als je dit zou weten. Daarom -2 ipc en transport en infanterie naar locatie van je eigen keuze en als je vervolgens nog een ncm wil doen met je schepen (wat ik wel zou aanraden), dan mag je dat ook doen. Je verliest dus Denemarken en 2 ipcs, maar behoud je je units. Dit lijkt me uitermate schappelijk.

Waarschijnlijk. Ik zoek nog iemand om samen mee te spelen, maar ik betrap mijzelf te vaak op fouten. Zoals bijvoorbeeld die Duitse TT’s, die onnodig werden afgeslacht door een Britse bommenwerper. Ik zoek dus eigenlijk iemand, die dat soort dingen kan helpen voorkomen.
