wheat i have a question: if the uk takes territories in the pacific side of the board while india is owned by japan, does the income go to london?

No, London can never collect income for territories on the the Pacific map (except British Columbia in Canada which belongs to the Europe economy). London also can’t collect income for Western India.
If the UK claims or reclaims territory in the Pacific when Calcutta is under Axis control then the IPC is not collected by anyone.

I believe that China should be able to collect for both Burma and Kwangtung.

That is correct. Kamikazes can only target surface ships.

I am fairly certain that China cannot repair facilities or use them in any way but let me skim the FAQ.

According to Krieghund, China can’t repair bases.
Though I was wrong in that China can use them. Although there are no airbases anywhere China can take now (and I’m not sure if they could be allowed to scramble if there were because that would take the unit outside China … but at least they would get the +1 movement bonus hypothetically).

The US can’t assume control of Dutch territory directly from the Dutch, unlike ANZAC/UK. The US can only control Dutch territory if they’re taking it over from the Axis.

VERY interesting game. i’ve made a couple missteps i think. however, they have presented some potentially lethal opportunities.
if i do a naval battle i will always wait for ool.

That’s a perfect example of where I’d prefer to call OOL round by round.
