There are supposed to be a number of bugs fixed since 2.6 and I would rather not have to worry about them.
You can go to:

click on “World War II Global.zip” and download it
Go to Program Files(x86) >> TripleA >> triplea_1_5_2_1 >> maps
delete the zip file in the maps folder that’s already named “World War II Global”
then put the newly downloaded World War II Global.zip in the maps folder (you don’t need to extract/unzip it)
Unfortunately updating will not alter the version of a game once it’s started, so we’re stuck with 2.6 unless you wish to start over.

Let me know how you want to proceed. We should be able to handle most of them via edit (except maybe the Japan DOW against ANZAC/UK not allowing the US to declare war against Japan … dunno if edit can do political actions).
If I declare war on brittain I will also declare war on america. SO that won’t be a problem. Bombing raids… I don’t ever do them. We can just have a game with no raids. you can enable edit mode and add an inf to egypt. What is the problem with the objective with america?
I haven’t experienced it in a game yet, but some circumstance allows Japan to Collect their 10 IPC NO when they shouldn’t (I’ll look it up, I know someone described it in the thread). That one should be easy to catch if it happens though.
I like to SBR as Axis, but as Allies it’s less likely I will.
