  • I have a feeling that you didn’t expect Germany to advance this fast or something. It looks like Moscow will fall turn 5 . . . maybe turn 4 if you decide not to fly your brits to Moscow. I think this strat makes it almost impossible for USSR to really get enough out of their axis NOs to really make a difference. I haven’t played this combined G1 and J1 strat often, but Moscow has always fallen by turn 8 at the very latest . .  and that one was due more to some crappy dice then anything else.

    Out of 4 games with this (1 online & 3ftf), I’ve only lost once so far. And in that one Japan was controlled by someone else and they completely made a mess of things. Moscow fell on turn 6 but by then Japan was pretty much neutralized. Germany & Italy had to face the combined might of UK Pac, UK Euro, and USA. The Persian IC, UK pac, and the far east russian inf managed to retake and hold Moscow turn 8-9 while heavy landings on the coast kept Germany from keeping up the pressure on the eastern front. Even the Anzacs started contributing with air towards the very end as well.
