I have heard that there is a lot of work to program Global for triple-A.
Is anyone actually working on it?

Verqyn and some others are HEROICALLY working on it, and making the game perfect.

Global 1940 Alpha+ 3.9 is working, (some final bugs to address) Every other version of Axis and Allies is included (Save miniatures)!

@djensen A space is problematic, indeed, as it prevents from posting, too. Though the error message appears to be different. Replacing the space by a hyphen still caused an error message but at least allowed posting in this case. The best solution appears to be to change the username in that case.

Intriguing. I didn’t realize someone had gotten as far as making at least a functional map and XML that could be played using a decent amount of edits. There is always a chance that TripleA would support 1914 but it would require a developer to make a number of engine enhancements to support the many ‘interesting’ rules that added.

There are some old versions of Global 1940 as Alpha1 and Alpha2? In TripleA there are Original, Alpha 3 and Second Edition, but exists another Alpha in .xml?

Please dont take those “f–- off’s” by some as a voice from AAWC. The War Zone serve used by those playing in AAWC on the Hasbro CD is not owned by AAWC. The War Zone server is owned and controlled by a privet party (i believe someone from the Risk Lobby).

We can not control who comes into the War Zone, only those allowed to be members of the AAWC club. There are several players in the War Zone who are not active members of AAWC.
