As I said if you want to scramble just reroll. I just find it a bit to convenient if you just roll additional defenders if you know my attack rolled crappy. But if you say you definitely would have scrambled, then you may roll the additional defenders. I’ll probably loose some attackers for the second round so maybe I’ll even have to retreat. Shall I go ahead and reroll it?
