Understatement of the year! We take turns dicing each other . . . as long as I get my turn again soon. :-D
But man, sz26 . . . ZERO hits on the 1st round for me and then 1 hit each round from then on. Meanwhile you got 3/5 on the 1st round and then 3/3 in the 3rd rd. Only thing that somewhat helped was you whiffing in that 2nd round.

I did have equipment unmoved in the combat move phase to block the sz if needed, additional air to fly to sz31 if I had an empty of half used carrier, or I could’ve used that stuff to guard sz6 if you hadn’t scrambled and still had air to threaten the transports if it came down to it. I just wanted to kill stuff before it consolidated and became that much more dangerous, even an even trade would’ve been fine by me.
I want to put pressure on the allies on all fronts. Force US to spend in the pac by killing your equipment at the same time that I’m pushing deep into Germany. Didn’t quite work out like that, but still interesting to see how you balance this.
