with the french i attacked southern france as i thought it was just the german mech and tank. but then when i rolled(i got lucky and scored a hit) it showed that you also had italians there aswell.
the units were in shown in northern italy but with the black line extending from southern france which i did not see.

this actually brought up an interesting moral/game dilemma for me.
i rolled a battle i did not think i was rolling. i got lucky and scored a hit(and who knows you might have missed your defence rolls). this is probably better than i would do in defence of normandy.so the dilema is do i stop the turn there and say i did not know the battle i was getting into or do i just play it since i got lucky.

No problem about aborting the attack in this case.
If you want we can consider that attack roll as your defense roll and EDIT G2 to recognize 1 hit (if it gets 0 or 2).

thanks for the offer, but i will not accept. i do not own the dice roll that france took. it is completely random so we can let the dice decide if i do better or worse(assuming you attack normandy)
