13L G40 Stalingradski (Axis) vs Infrastructure (Allies+12) Game 4 Tech

2 1/2 extra German fighters killed helps to make up for some of that bad luck. Based on what the battle calculator came up with, I was supposed to win 96% with 6.9 units left… ended with 4. So it doesn’t quite = 30 IPCs for a reroll. I don’t know if I’d do it anyhow.

ok i forgot to bring my land units from hawaii last turn. i dont know how to handle this. it makes me really grumpy about this game.
-
Let me take a look. I know that I moved my units based on what you could and could not bring.
I’ll be very willing for you to have them, but we’ll have to think about a little back tracking on my part if it compromises what I did with Japan.
-
Yes, it changes everything. This will be hard to unwind, but it’s probably a game breaker if we don’t. I’m cool with you bringing your six favorite land forces, but I’ll need to review the dice rolls for my turn and start over. I’m obviously going to either need blockers or different positioning, etc., but I also want to try to be true to whatever happened with the rolls.
If it ends up being completely different with the moves, perhaps I should just do over the entire turn like it didn’t happen. I have no memory right now of whether the turn went well or poorly or average for me.
-
do you believe you would have changed any of the combat? I guess that would be the important question.
I am happy with whatever you decide. -
It’s more about positioning. I didn’t have to worry about islands being invaded, so I didn’t protect them… if you look at the map, US with three transports as things stand right now could take back 3 islands - I left no blockers.
so I have to reassess… unfortunately my energy is extremely low, so the idea of it is daunting right now… I need easy choices.
-
you didn’t think it was odd that i had 3 empty transports on us4?
-
that last line was a total joke, i hope you know.
:-P -
Oh, I knew it was odd… I didn’t spend a lot of time thinking about it, and swam straigh ahead like a shark. If we were playing f2f I would have said “ummm…” 8-)
-
Ok, to keep things simple, just edit out my single destroyer from SZ37 and add it to SZ35, off the Phillipines… can’t just let you swim in without a fight! Plus, edit your dudes from Hawaii to Queensland.
Otherwise, we’ll leave it as is… you had your share of stuff happen that round, and I had mine.
-
Is it something I said?
Hope all is well mister -
-
Non-binding bump, even though I know you’re not there… :-)
I’m just finishing up our vacation week, and look forward to talking to you when you get back.
Hope all is well with you and family ~

should be able to normalize after todays work and will get to this tonight!
-
wouldn’t it make more sense for you to redo japans turn completely or if you don’t like that you redo it as honest to yourself as you can and any battles that have the same dice can be the same if you want. I don’t feel good about you being punished for my mental mishap. I did that move the same night I though boldfresh’s destroyers were anzacian and that bad move cost me a game. I dont care about winning and losing enough to take a win like that. It still leaves a really bad taste in my mouth. I wont be playing him again.
Let me know. Call if you want tonight, I should be available.
-
I’ll look again… last time I checked, I didn’t have the energy to change anything… :-)

i hope ll is well with you.

Hey infra, I just saw your comment about me. That is news to me since you said nothing to me about it. So u just want to move on forever holding a grudge against me? Tell ya what I will replay the usa turn and not use the destroyers you thought were anzac - I dont care so much about winning either to take advantage of ur error. So let me know.
