Oh thank GOD! whew . . . I made a potentially fatal mistake with Japan. Usually I take Wake Island and I completely spaced on it. I didn’t notice until I went to do noncom and realized I had an unmoved transport. I didn’t feel right asking after the combat dice were rolled and I was really really hoping you wouldn’t hit me. With Wake as a landing spot, way too much American air could’ve reached. And then Aussies could’ve followed up with 1 ca and 3 ftrs, again using wake as a landing spot.
Had I had Wake, I could’ve taken hits on the carriers and landed the air on the base were they could’ve scrambled against the aussies. Plus it removes a landing spots for the allied air, reducing the threat on them. That could’ve been really really bad for me. 2/3rds of my carriers and 20% of my air just like that. :cry:

it’s game over if i hit it. either that or i get horribly diced and it’s game over for me… i have a terrible history with all air attacks on fleet.

welcome to the harsh reality of my dice. it’s a very harsh thing to witness, and it’s NORMAL. :lol:
only thing a little abnormal about that is that the tank survived in iraq. those three skirmishes will have a ripple effect through the rest of this game that will be very dramatic.
fyi, if you had won the yugo battle in round 1, you would have been dead. that’s what i love about this game though, the dice can throw a giant wrench into the best of plans at ANY TIME. and for me, that means MOST of the time. :wink:

I finally started working again. So moves will be a little slower now and I’m sorry for any delay. I should get in a move at least every other day now, although I’ll try for a faster move if possible.
