Yes, this is true…… BUT, when you drop them off on UK’s turn, and then on USA’s turn the transports move to pick them up, then on UK’s turn load on the transport, then on USA’s turn transport them, and UK’s turn unload. It takes a lot of time. And within those turns, Germany (if they still have their air force) can sink that American transport. So, I think its not a good strategy.

Both sides for passage through either canal!

Yeah but the Panama territory is on both sides of the panama canal so if you own it you automaticaly own both sides.

In our games we also include the turkish straits and we have some modifications to the straits of Gibralter. But their are no official rules for those.
