    GeZe,

Yes, in Kremlin rules the lowest rated player can either pick options for axis or allies. One of these options is having neutral countries join your side. You can pick one major neutral and one minor neutral to place units in.

Major neutrals–------Units gained by having this neutral join your side

    Switzerland-----------2 infantry and one fighter
    Sweden---------------2 infantry and one submarine
    Turkey----------------2 infantry and one armor
    Spain------------------3 infantry and one armor
    Peru-------------------2 infantry and one submarine
    Argentina-------------2 infantry and one transport
    Venezuela------------2 infantry and one armor

Minor neutrals(all minor neutrals get one infantry unit placed there)

Afghanistan, Mongolia, Rio de Oro, Mozambique, Angola, Rio de Oro, Eire.

So for example if I am picking for Axis I can have Japan take Turkey and Germany take Mozambique…or if I am picking for Allies I can have Russia take Switzerland and USA take Afghanistan.

So you see I can place a Russian infantry unit in Rio de Oro. :)

  • ah very interesting

The ruleset is for Springs second database. We use the CD, and the CD will not allow neutral territories to be worth any ipc’s. The idea behind the neutral takeover is to control a neutral territories army at the beginning of a game. If you play on the boardgame feel free to make the neutrals worth any number of ipc’s you and your opponent agree upon.
