7 remaining was expected? Ok then. 3 AA gun hits were a more than average start, and first round was very bloody, but maybe subsequent rounds were better then I thought. In any case no complaints, a similar outcome is always possible. Wrong strategy probably if relying on dice too much.

There is a combat calculator build into tripleA. Click ctrl-b on a battle area and the units are added into the battle calculator automatically. 7.29 was the outcome of 2000 simulations so the result may be a little off from the exact number. :-)
Thx, that is helpful. What I use gives me probabilities and IPCs lost, but not “units remaining”. I am too lazy to convert most of the times, so this will certainly help me. Had I bothered to check, with a result of 7 I would not have attacked :)
