I have a few questions about A&A Europe 1940 :

#1). When playing online do people use the A&A Global 1940 Battlemap(aka Sgt. Wonko)? Or, is there a specific Europe map that people use?

#2). Does the A&A Europe 1940 game use the Alpha +2 setup or the OOB setup?

……and I like those “lost patrols” in the desert and the last couple of games they have actually done good things !
(they were able to bring done the fighter from England to lend some punch to their attacks

Haha, yeah, the Paris roundel thing was just a joke since Paris is taken so soon.

Nice one on the using the “lost patrols” so effectively! I know they can be used to do good things, just have to get them there (and I’m an impatient man) :-D

Buy Euro & pacific games. download the Alpha+2 rules and objectives and set ups, play both OOB and the Alpha+2 using the global rules for the OOB and the Alpha+2 rules for the other set up. I think you’ll see the diff.
I think the Alpha+2 is a better game and I like it the way it is

Yes, it can do that. Refer to page 20 of the P40 rulebook, under restrictions on placement:
“New Sea units can enter play even in a hostile sea zone. No combat occurs because the conduct combat phase is over.”
