Do people see Italy as an Axis minor? I don’t, I know it’s the poorest major power in the game but it’s still a major power. My two cents on this debate is you either take Italy and have it support Germany when it invades USSR or you use Italy as a naval power to keep India and UK from linking up or you can take a more questionable route and try to do both.

I have not bought the game yet. I do not want the general strategy to be at all revealed
So, I would like to know a few things
How far is Larry’s team on fixing the setup overall? Are we within a measurable range of seeing the setup being 100% agreed on? If so what is that measure?
Next, do all of the noted issues with the games sum up to enough advise me to refrain from buying?

I’d say buy it (and use paper money from an older A&A or Monopoly or so).
If someone says it is not worth buying, you can ask to buy their copy, for a soft 2nd hand price ;)
Edit: according to many there are some balance issues, but nothing that can’t be fixed

Probably months still (meaning I doubt anything will be 100% official by Jan 1 2011).
Shouldn’t necessarily stop you, unless you want a 100% firm set of rules and locked in setup.
