We’ll see. I’m just super afraid it’ll increase American morale if I attacked first. Worth a shot though as morale never undermined most campaigns on either side.
Strait question
-
If I control Gib can I attack Mor w/o trans because I cross the strait?
-
No, unless it’s a solely air attack. Just like you can’t cross the English Channel without a transport

But there is no strait between fra and eng in g40.
There is a strait between Gib and Mor. Also if you don’t control gib it doesn’t block movement between Z91 and 92

Well, I made that comparison because, in real life, they are about the same distance

Yes but in real life you can drive under the english channel

Only since the 1990’s

No. Rulebook clearly states that narrow straits can’t be crossed by land units without using transports. The only exception are the Turkish Straits since it does not require any type of movement to cross them.

does a sub need permission to enter the Baltic via the Danish Straits?
-
A sub belonging to a power at war may only pass through the strait if it has been controlled by that power’s side since the beginning of the turn. A sub belonging to a neutral power may only pass through the strait with the permission of the controlling power.
-
But in the rulebook it specifically mentions subs passing through the straits of Gibralter with out needing permission. Is this the only exception or is this wrong in the rulebook?
-
Gibraltar is the only exception.
